Yamuna

I’m Yamu from Sri Lanka. Living here in Finland has make easy with the wonderful people that I meet here in Yhdessä Yhdistys. I like Finnish school system too.

I love nature, literature and being with people. When I’m alone I feel sad.

I also like the chance to experience the 4 seasons here in Finland. The reason I like the most is snowy Winter. When it is snowing I feel like I’m living in a dream. Everytime when I go to forest during Winter I remember the poem “Stopping by the woods in a snowy evening”.

It always makes me happy to see the Spring blooming with sweet smell.

Again colourful Autumn remind me of the poem “Ode to Autumn”.

When I was living in Sri Lanka where I experience Summer all the time and learn there I never thought I would really feel these reasons to myself. I love Finland very much but miss my country and family the same way.
